The Kyriad brand has opened its first hotel in China: the Kyriad Yangzhou Baolong Square. This 96-room hotel embodies the drive to bring a new brand offering French savoir-faire onto the Asian market.
The adventure began in 2017 when Louvre Hotels Group launched a strategic alliance with Vienna to develop and operate Kyriad in China (Kyriad Marvelous).
On March 3, 2018 the new hotel was inaugurated at a ceremony attended by Jean-Virgile Crance, Business Strategy Director for the Kyriad brand, and Kerwin Shew, the biggest Chinese investor and responsible for operating and developing the Kyriad brand in China.
The lobby décor, a montage of small suitcases, invites guests to explore, as does a large bookcase full of travel guides and mementos of seasoned travellers. The restaurant offers a large breakfast every morning featuring local and international fare before transforming into a tearoom in the afternoon. In the evening, hotel clients are welcomed at the International Beer Bar. Each room is a veritable invitation to travel with a large map of the world on the headboard. And, of course, you will find memory foam pillows in each room, one of the Kyriad brand’s trademarks.
As of January 2018, 37 Kyriad China projects have been signed.
